Xero Integration

To integrate with Xero:

1) In the ShipIT Main menu Click on Settings > Integration > Add New and select Xero from the Add Integration List. You will be directed to the Xero settings page.

2) ShipIT has to be authorized by Xero before you can start using it. Once you are on the Xero settings page, click the Authorize link at the bottom of the page. You will be redirected to the Xero login Page to authorize ShipIT. After you have finished authorization, click the save button at the bottom of the settings page.

3) You are now ready to import your orders from Xero. Click the shipments tab at the top of the page. Once you are on the shipments page, click the 'Import' button and the import window will open. In this window select the Xero check-box and the number of days you wish to import then click the 'Import' button at the bottom. After a short load time it will display the number of newly imported orders. Click the 'Close' button to re-load your shipments page with the newly imported orders. You should now see your shipments.

Notes on importing Xero address fields:

The address format in Xero must follow one of the rules below in order to have the address imported to the correct fields in ShipIT:

1 - When address has 2 lines in Xero

  • Address Line 1 -> Street 
  • Address Line 2 -> Suburb

2 - When address has 3 lines in Xero

  • Address Line 1 -> Building 
  • Address Line 2 -> Street 
  • Address Line 3 -> Suburb

Country field needs to be filled in Xero for the "State/Region" to be imported properly. e.g. "Australia", "United States" etc.
